Peacock Cashmere

Today was another B-E-A-UTIFUL day. The sun was shining and people actually looked a bit more happy on the street. I wanted to wear one of vintage dresses but decided against it as my office has been freezing and yesterday I was chilled to the bone.
Today I decided to wear my favorite vintage cashmere sweater.  I absolutely love it. It has a very unique peacock feather print with white Bakelite buttons. Its not only beautiful but it sure is warm 😀

HAPPY THURSDAY!

Hint of Spring

Hey all,
Today I awoke to a beautiful sunrise and a hint of green on my front lawn. Could it be true….Spring is here? Todays weather forecast is a lovely 6 degrees (warm for a Canadian February)  and I plan on taking full advantage of it. Today I dressed slightly springy as I hope this weather is here to stay.

Here’s a quick pic of me in my kitchen before running off to work. I am wearing red Zara jeans, my fiancée white Junk de Luxe shirt, Coach flats, Michael Kors watch, and a vintage Hermes scarf.

Scarf Sunday

I love Sundays! They are the most relaxing day of the week for me. Usually I let my hair down, put on one of my favorite pairs of jeans with a tee, and a cute cardi and away I go. But yesterday I was inspired when was looking through my book collection and discovered a great little vintage book I found on one of my vintage adventures. Its called the Knaughty Look the Magic of Scarf Fashion. This book was published in 1983 and has 110 pages of different ways to tie scarves. Its great, fun and easy for anyone with a scarf collection.  So today I tried one of the styles.
Results!

I also pulled my hair back into a victory roll and paired it with a nice black flower.

Happy Friday!

Flirty Friday!

Hey all
Ive been a little lacking in posts this week due to the fact that I have been working with dirty old samples, and did not want to ruin or dirty any of my nice clothes.  But this morning I was inspired to wear something a little fun. I found a picture on my friends facebook page and decided to play off of that look. She called it “country meets glamour.”

Have a great weekend everyone! 😀

Beachside Grill

Every weekend me and my lovely gent go out for breakfast in the area. We like to try out new places and we figured we would check out the Beachside Grill after seeing earlier in the week on one of our walks.
We went in not really knowing what to expect but were pleasantly surprised.  The food was good and there was alot of it. The plates were huge. Claude had the Hungry Man and he definitely was not as hungry as he thought.

Keep in mind this is only for 2 ppl.

All that food for under $20 bucks. I definitely recommend this place if your looking for a great little diner, and a cozy little ambiance.

Dream Car

Today I was going for an afternoon stroll with my beau. During the walk I spotted my dream car. A 1967 Chevy El Camino SS. I love this car. Pure sexy, it has the muscle of a truck and beauty of a muscle car all wrapped up in one. Not to mention the 454 engine.  If it was mine I would personally paint it lipstick red or jet black. But whites fine too. 😀

Soooooo nice. Funny story is it was even beautiful after I saw it getting towed away an hour later.
