Betsy Johnson Anyone?

Hey all,

Today I am doing a little clothing post that may excite some of you! I was recently cleaning my closet and I came across this lovely dress. I was originally keeping it for myself and it has been in my closet for about 2 years, and I felt like it was time to give allow someone else to enjoy it.

Im not sure if you all know this but Betsy Johnson has recently filed for bankruptcy protection on April 26th. So that means that her boutiques will be closing and only a few department stores will continue to carry Betsy Johnson 😦

So here it is!!! A chance to own your very own vintage Betsy Johnson Dress!!! I found this lovely gem a couple years ago in my travels through the states. I instantly fell in love with it and was more excited that the dress had in fact never been worn!!!! A BRAND NEW VINTAGE DESIGNER DRESS!!! How lucky Right? Well with all that excitement I brought it home and put it in my closet and that is were it has stayed for 2 years. So now its time to give this lovely dress a new home where it will get worn and enjoyed!

Frugal Furs

Good Day Peeps,

This weekend I was going through my closet and I rekindled my love for my vintage fur coat. Its beautiful! Black, Sleek and it makes me feel like a million dollars :D. As soon as I put it on I feel like I travel through time and I imagine myself in the 1950’s. Oh so Classy :D. So today I decided to do a little blurb on furs and how they can be affordable for  anyone.

For me personally I would never go out and purchase a brand new expensive fur.  Especially when I got mine for $50. These days stores are producing very real looking faux fur. This makes it a lot easier for people to own a fur and save an animal. You can find some really great faux furs for under $200 online.

If your searching for a real fur the first place I would look is on There are some really amazing furs on that site for under $500. If online shopping is not an option for you, my recommendation is to either hit up a vintage shop near  you, or a local Value Village. You never know what steals you may find.

Always check the shoulder, neck, and armpit for holes and cracking. If they are it means the fur is dry. It can be repaired but you can judge if it is worth it for the price. If you love your newly discovered fur but it needs some repairs here is a tutorial on how to fix furs

Hermes Humpdays!

So a few weeks ago me and a friend came across this little beauty! A 1980’s style Hermes Dress! The print is absolutely stunning and the garment itself is in immaculate condition.Hermes Dress

And Guess what! Its up for Grabs! I would love to keep it but its too big for me and also I like more tailored clothing. But this little beauty would look great with a patent leather belt and a great fitted blazer.  This dress deserves a good home!
