Hello all
I hope you are all enjoying your work week. For me I always find it hard to get back into the groove after a long weekend. Luckily its been sunny and hot so those factors always help. Today I decided to wear something soft and breezy to help me get through the day.

Today is another lovely day and again I plan on taking full advantage of it, because after this the weather will be returning to normal spring weather.  Everyday is a dress day until then!!!

Summer in March

This week has been great! The weather is beautiful, flowers are blooming, sun is shining, wedding invitations arrived and life is good. Out of all these exciting things I must say I am most excited to bring out my summer dresses.
Today in Toronto it was a whopping 30 degrees with the humidex and its only the second day of spring. Today I was excited to wear one of my vintage dresses that I rediscovered last week. I actually had plans to make it into a skirt because the front had a horrific stain. I washed it numerous times and tried different stain removers and nothing. But last week one of my co-workers brought in some great stain remover and I decided to give this stain one last try. ALAS!!!!! The stain came out! I was so excited I could not wait to wear it. So today was the perfect day to show it off.

Take a moment to admire the cute print. This is why I tried to save it so many times.

I hope you all had a wonderful day! Happy hump day!

This Thursday I was deceived by the lovely people of the Weather Network. All week I was anticipating Thursday as it was supposed to be a beautiful springy 18 degrees. The warmest day so far.  My day started by me looking out the window to see dark clouds, but I refused to believe it was going to rain and that it was supposed to be warm. So I walked out the front door and as I turned around to say goodbye to my love, it began to rain. Still refusing to believe that my warm day would be ruined I continued on to the streetcar. As I turned the corner of my lovely little street a gust of wind came, and remained the rest of the day. Needless to say it never made 18 degrees and I was under dressed for the weather 😦  It was too bad as I had picked my outfit after being inspired by “Carrie Bradshaw’s” argyle socks and thought “this” day would be the perfect day to wear them. Ah well even though I was cold I still looked cute.

My Inspiration

So here it is. I am wearing a Foever 21 t-shirt, Lida Baday skirt, Aldo shoes, Argyle socks from ?, Vintage pearl necklace and a grey cardigan that I got from my mom for Christmas.

This morning before I left the house my dapper man caught my eye. I had to take a quick pic of his outfit as I thought it looked to good not to share.

Flirty Friday!

Hey all
Ive been a little lacking in posts this week due to the fact that I have been working with dirty old samples, and did not want to ruin or dirty any of my nice clothes.  But this morning I was inspired to wear something a little fun. I found a picture on my friends facebook page and decided to play off of that look. She called it “country meets glamour.”

Have a great weekend everyone! 😀

Heavenly Match!

Today I decided to break out one of my most favorite 1950’s cardigans.  Its beautiful! Its nude in color and has gathers on the cuffs with rhinestones.  Also the fur is removeable. But I personally think the fur is the best part! Its so full and beautiful! It looks brand new.
I found this lovely gem about 3 years ago and I actually found the fur and the sweater separate.  I found the fur first and fell in love with it and I was planning on just sewing it onto a jacket or sweater.  A few days later I found the sweater and noticed they had matching snaps. They fit together perfectly.  Match made in vintage heaven 😀
