Crochet cuteness!

Posted on

I’ve recently been looking through my vintage stash in preparation for my up coming Pop Up Shop, and I have been having a slight problem. I seem to be finding a lot of things I want to keep for myself lol. So while I was searching through my goodies I found this great little crochet cardi. I love it! And I think at one point I actually had gotten it for myself and never worn it so it got transferred to my storage. Well now it has been reintroduced to the world and is ready for the summer heat πŸ™‚ hopefully!

Wearing a vintage crochet cardigan, vintage tooled leather belt, vintage leather flats and a great maxi dress that I found at winners for $20. Unfortunately I don’t think its going to fit for very much longer 😦

Its a “Lucy” Kind of Day!

Hey all,
Today I woke up wanting to do something a little different with my hair. The idea quickly popped into my head that I would try the “I Love Lucy” hairstyle, as that is what most people call me at work πŸ™‚

My first attempt for this hairstyle. It turned out quite nice. Funny thing is no one called me “Lucy” today.

Today I wore a vintage dress, vintage tooled leather belt, vintage cardigan, vintage necklace and coach shoes. I think dress really complimented the hairstyle πŸ™‚

Here is a little tutorial for this hairstyle if anyone is interested in trying it.

Mary Had A Little Lamb!

Recently Ive been on the search for non terrible, belly friendly dresses to wear for the summer. I can finally say I actually found one that I love! I found it at one of my favorite stores Dollfactory by Damzels. Granted im sure its not intended for maternity wear but I just couldn’t resist πŸ™‚

This is an adorable dress by Iron Fist. This dress literally has all things great πŸ˜‰ It has little adorable lambs (some may or may not be wearing bondage) flowers, zippers, belts and studs. I absolutely love it!!! And the bodice is short enough on me that I can fit my baby bump in too! YAY!

I decided to do my hair in a couple victory rolls facing different directions. I think it went well with the dress πŸ™‚

Hello all,

Sorry about all the mirror shots lately. I’m currently in search for a new camera and until I find one my camera phone is my camera so please bare with me πŸ™‚

Anyways…So over the past few months and a growing belly I have on the search for something to wear that doesnt make me look like a balloon and marshmallow. As funny as it sounds it is actually quite the feat to find fashionable and affordable maternity wear. So with that being said I have decided to make some of my own clothing. Which is what I did on Saturday night πŸ™‚

On Saturday I was quite frustrated with my closet so I decided to whip something up on my own. I chose to make a maxi dress with some fabric I purchased a while back. I picked out one of my favorite maxi dresses and I also chose a top that I liked. I combined the styles and came up with my own maxi dress. I am actually pretty happy with the final result.

I took the tie detail from the top that I liked and I added a little extra detail by using a contrast color so the tie is more noticeable.

I paired the dress with a vintage cardigan and a vintage tooled leather belt.

I’m quite happy with how the dress turned out. Cant wait to create something else πŸ™‚

French Friday!

This week I was perusing through the hair tutorials on YouTube and I came across a cute little tutorial by my favorite tutorial gal TheCherryDollFace. It’s a vintage Marilyn Monroe look. I thought it was cute. So after playing around with it I decided I was going to wear it on Friday. I figured since I was going to wear a French beret I might as well dress the whole part πŸ˜€ Β I actually felt veryΒ feminine in this outfit. It set a great mood for a Friday πŸ™‚

Today I wore a vintage French Beret, Vintage Cardigan, striped top from Zara, Lida Baday skirt and Irregular Choice shoes.

Hair Close up!Β

Try the tutorial! Its super easy and very pretty πŸ™‚

And to set the mood here’s some Marilyn πŸ˜€

Hope you had a great weekend!!

Bridesmaid Dress love!

Hello peeps,
Just wanted to do a quick little post about my dress today. This dress is quite special….. well to me it is. For my wedding I chose this fabric, and style for my lovely bridesmaids. My lovely friends custom made the dresses for me (most awesome friends ever!) So with that being said I loved the dresses so much I also got myself one πŸ™‚
I love the fabric, the colors, the dainty style. I just love it! I hope my bridesmaids feel the same.
So today I wore my dress and paired it with a cute vintage cardi and red platform heels.
Hope you like it too! πŸ™‚

Hey all
So this weekend I actually got to do a little bit of shopping. Now that my wedding is over I feel a little less guilty about buying stuff.
So today I wore a new top that I bought at Damzels. Its by Living Dead Souls clothing, Levis jeans, a vintage cardigan and a red pair of flats. Oh and my newest vintage find my new vintage Harley Davidson leather purse.
