What a lonnnnnnng day! Today seemed longer than normal as I have been eagerly awaiting the long weekend! To celebrate my excitement I decided to dress bright and sunny.

Today I wore a vintage floral dress that actually used to be my grandmothers (I found it in her basement on my last trip home: D ). I paired my dress with some fun and flirty Betsy Johnson bow heels, a Lida Baday belt and a vintage cardigan.

I wish you all a happy and safe May long weekend!: D

Flowers & Bows

Yesterday was a lovely day. The birds were chirping and the sun was shining.  Because it was such a lovely day I decided to wear one of my favorite dresses. After I had my dress picked I ran into a little dilemma.  I couldn’t pick a pair of shoes and it seems my shoe collection is running rather low as I have at least 5 pairs that need to be re-tipped. As I was getting ready to leave I noticed my little patent bow booties were dusty. So sad to see. So I slipped them on and away to work I went. This was only the second time these beauties hit the street. I survived and they were actually very comfortable.

Hair day

Posted on

So last week I got a call from my sister saying she didnt really like the hairstyle I picked for her to wear in my wedding.  (Yes I picked my bridesmaids hairstyles) I was obviously slightly insulted as I personally loved the hairstyle, so today I decided to try it out to prove a point that I think its nice.
I must say I had a hard time doing it as I am currently growing out my bangs, and also I only had a limited time to style it as I had to be at work.

The inspiration.

So I think it turned out ok. Im sure it could have been perfected with more time. But hopefully she will change her feeling towards the hair.

Sorry its a little late but I wanted do a little post about my St Patty’s day festivities. On St Pattys day we decided to have a ladies night for our friends birthday. We dressed up in our lovely green get-ups and our signature green drink, and green food. Its was a great evening.  For the event I wore a 1950s green playsuit, my peacock T.U.K shoes, and a vintage cardigan.

Trouser Time

Roses Are Red

Today I decided to bring out one of my vintage dresses that I’ve had mixed feelings about. I found this dress a few years ago and fell in love with the print. At first I was going to alter it and take the bodice off and just wear it as a skirt. Then I thought about altering the neckline.  But on Halloween I decided to actually wear it as it is (I also was wearing day of the dead face paint)
It was that day that I decided to leave it as it is. 😀
